I’ve just purchased an Orchid. Should I leave the Plastic Sleeve on?

No, the Plastic sleeve is just to protect the Orchid and its leaves during transit. Please remove the sleeve once you’re home so that the plant can breathe, otherwise it will sweat in the sleeve.

Should I water my Orchid as soon as I get it home?

That all depends on the plant. If the roots are looking plump and green and the soil is a little damp then you don’t need to water it. But if the roots are looking a bit silvery and the Orchid Bark is dry then yes you will need water your Orchid.

I’ve just bought a Watercolour Orchid. Is this the Orchids Natural colour?

Watercolour Orchids are White Phalaenopsis Orchids that have been coloured using a special technique while the plants are still in bud to create these fantastic coloured blooms.

When my Watercolour Orchid reblooms will it have the same colour?

When the plant finishes flowering and then reblooms, it does revert to the Orchid's original colour, which will be white.

The colour used on my Watercolour Orchid. Is it pet safe?

Yes! The colour we use is safe for people and pets.

The colour on my Watercolour Orchid is beginning to change, why is that?

As you water your Orchid, the colour will fade slightly over time (the water going through the roots dilutes it by a small amount each time, so they go from super bright to a soft pastel colour that looks equally stunning.
